By accessing or using Zavvy (website, iOS, or Android), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Zavvy provides
Zavvy is an information and planning tool for comparing grocery prices between major Australian supermarkets (currently Coles and Woolworths). Features may include: • Product search and category browsing • Side-by-side and unit-price comparison • Smart cart with single-store and split-store savings estimates • Saved items and saved shopping lists (including read-only snapshots) • Weekly specials and promotional catalogue content (when available) • Optional features such as similar-product suggestions, alternate product views, long-press previews, weekly price push alerts, and in-store barcode scanning — each may be rolled out gradually and may not be available in all versions or regions. Zavvy does not sell groceries, process checkout payments, or fulfil orders. You purchase from retailers directly.
Price and product accuracy
Prices, specials, stock status, and product details are sourced from publicly available retailer data and third-party catalogues. Information may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Always confirm price, size, and availability in-store or on the retailer's official website or app before purchasing. Zavvy is not responsible for pricing errors, discontinued products, or purchasing decisions you make based on information shown in the app.
Your account
You may use many features without an account. If you register, you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Scrape, crawl, or automate access to Zavvy in a way that burdens our systems or bypasses intended use • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law permits • Interfere with other users or the security or integrity of the service • Use Zavvy for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights • Misrepresent affiliation with Zavvy, Coles, Woolworths, or any retailer
Camera and notifications
Some features require device permissions. Barcode scanning requires camera access; push alerts require notification permission. You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time, though related features may stop working.
Intellectual property
The Zavvy name, logo, design, software, and original content are owned by Zavvy or its licensors. Supermarket names, logos, and product images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison only.
Disclaimer of warranties
Zavvy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Zavvy and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss arising from pricing information, unavailable features, or shopping decisions.
Termination
You may stop using Zavvy at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of New South Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
